DURING THE MORNING ASSEMBLY

Before the commencement of regular class work, Morning Assembly is held in the school.

  1. Physical Training
  2. P.T Drill is practiced for ten minutes.
  3. A School Prayer is recited by all.
  4. School pledge is taken for a minute.
  5. The National Anthem is sung.

The students go to their respective classes after the assembly.

STUDENT’S FILE & IDENTITY CARD

The School maintains an individual file of all its students to maintain a systematic record of their academic as well as co-curricular progress and achievements.
An Identity card bearing the address of the students will remain in his/her custody all the time.

THE PARENT-TEACHER MEETING

The Parent Teacher Meeting will be conducted on second Saturday of every month. Both the parents are requested attend the same, the parents should make it a point to take this opportunity to discuss the progress of their children.
However, If any parent feel that he/she needs to meet the Principal or any teacher with regard to the work or conduct the child or for any problem faced by the child, he/she is encouraged to do so at the earliest after making an appointment with the Principal/ Headmistress or the Teacher concerned.
The school administration will take a serious view of the parents regularly absenting themselves from such meetings or showing indifference toward their children’s education.

THE SCHOOL CONVEYANCE

The Parents are responsible for arranging their own conveyance to send their wards to school.

PROGRESS REPORT

  1. Parents will be informed of the academic progress of their wards and their participation in co-curricular activities.
  2. Two terminal tests and four unit tests are conducted during the academic year.
  3. Besides the assignment test are conducted in every week.
  4. Promotion is guaranteed on the basis of he or she whole years performance.
  5. There will be no re-examination after any of the terminal or any round. Parents are requested not to approach the principal for re-examination.

THE RULES CONCERNING LEAVE AND ABSENCE

  • No one who is late or has been absent will be admitted to the class without the permission of the Principal.
  • It is compulsory for a student to attend the school on the first and last day after the summer vacation, puja vacation and winter vacation.
  • Leave is not granted except on prior written application from parents.
  • In case of sickness, a medical certificate of a Registered Doctor has to be submitted.
  • 80% attendance is essential for promotion to the next class.
  • Repeated absence without leave, or absence for more than 10 consecutive days renders a student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
  • If a student is unable to come to school for more than six days, the case must be reported to the principal by the parents.
  • A student returning to the school after suffering from infectious disease should produce and Doctor’s certificate permitting him to rejoin the school.
  • REMEDIAL CLASSES

    Each Teacher will be available for two days (Monday to Friday) one hour each to help those students who need the teacher / otherwise the teacher will spend the time for planning and preparing for next day’s class/for the academic year.

    SAFETY & SECURITY

    In order to give you complete peace of mind, the safety and security of the children is of almost importance at ‘Mount Wisdom’ Children are released only to those individuals listed on the child’s record, at the time of enrolment. Gates and fences are strategically placed throughout the campus with safety and security always in mind.

    STUDENT’S GUIDELINES

    1. All students must come school in uniform.
    2. All students must arrive at the school before the warning bell for the Assembly.
    3. Uniform must be clean, neat & tidy.
    4. All students expected to take good care of their books and personal belongings.
    5. All students must possess school diary, text books, note books and stationery.
    6. Students are advised not to bring valuable article to the school. The school will not be responsible for any goods lost.
    7. Application for leave must be submitted a day in advance duly counter signed by the parents/guardian.
    8. Students should be regular in attendance.

    PARENTS / GUARDIANS GUIDELINES

    1. Parents/Guardians use the school diary as a means of communication with the school checking the remark if any made by teachers.
    2. Please see that your ward comes to school in proper school uniform.
    3. Parents/Guardians are expected to attend Parent-Teacher Meetings.
    4. Please sign the test Copies/Papers and School Diary as when sent home.
    5. Parents/Guardians are not allowed to see their ward during class hours.
    6. Guardians expected to pay tuition fee before 10th of every month.
    7. In any communication (request, complaint, suggestion) made by parents to the school please meet with the principal.
    8. Please do not go into the classroom to discuss problem. Please meet the teacher with prior appointment at the school.
