School can be cool at some points. School, I’m really gifted when it comes
down to it. School is, where my friends are at every day. School is, where I get to see my
favorite teachers. Ha-Ha School, what’s left to say?
School as we say, is a place where a child spends most of time of his day. So, it really has to be an appropriate, suitable and a comfortable place where a child can grow and nurture his talents to the best of his ability and that too under a proper guidance. We in the Primary Department of Mount Wisdom School, ensure that the above-mentioned objectives are best achieved in our school as small, young, tender hearts and minds are obviously the “TARE ZAMEEN PAR”.
The previous year had been a period of tremendous joy, fulfilment and hard work for the students. We, the teachers of Mount Wisdom School really worked hard to develop various life skills and build up the confidence of students in the last session. An electric mix of sports, music, dramatics, dance, computers, art & craft with academic classes typify a normal day in Mount Wisdom School. Through all these activities, children are taught to share and acquire a positive attitude.
We not only in academic growth of a child but also in his around and holistic development. This has been taken care of by conducting art & craft activities in the School of enhance the creative ability of students.
Apart from the above, co-curricular activities like classical music, Science exhibition, bhajan competition, folk dance competition, Hindi dramatics, general quiz, English recitation, fancy dress, salad making, self-introduction, one-minute show etc. were also organized from time to time. All the activities were conducted on large Scale in order to inculcate a competitive spirit an confidence building in the children.
In academics, we have been organizing regular tests, exams and holding PTMs so that the children as well as the parents can be made aware about there actual progress and growth.
The students have been regularly interacting with our school counsellor for guidance and solving the problems. If a student is not able to adjust in the class properly to faces any sociological problem, the child is always provided special care to attention to overcome it.
We have always been organizing special remedial as well as extra classes for the slow learners so that they can come at par with the normal students. In these classes, special emphasis is laid on improving and enhancing their reading, writing and pronunciation skills.
At MWS, our philosophy and firm conviction is that ‘your child is our child’ and give the best to the students and to the society as we believe that today’s seeds are the flowers of tomorrow and they ought to be the best.
