Upper Primary Section

The school unfolds the beauty of thought, language, emotional bonding, social relationships and morality in every child. The objective of Mount Wisdom School is to nurture the young minds and turn them into intellectuals.

The process starts from the kindergarten but accelerates in the Upper Primary section as the children become the day dreamers. The year gone by has been memorable for Middle section as many students won the accolades and more new programmes were started.

Life-skill education has been a buzz word for well over a decade now; it is increasingly being acknowledged that values building programme should be included in the mainstream education to equip the students to meet the challenges ahead. Keeping this in view ‘Student Empowerment Programme’ was organized for the students of classes VI & VIII under the aegis of knowledge Horizon.

Much of learning today takes place through research and reference conducted by the students. We believe in teaching about the technology, with the technology and design curriculum that uses technology meaningfully. The students did many activities and Practicals in Science and Maths which made their understanding easy and lifelong. To keep the teachers abreast with the new concept and technology, they were also exposed to various workshops and seminars from time to time. This workshops helped the teachers to make their lessons simple and interesting.

We not only provide quality education and congenial surroundings but also organize various co-curricular activities to develop the public speaking skills and Confidence. Many inter-house competitions, sports, debates, quiz contests, dramatics, music, dance etc.

The Upper Primary section is surging forward and touching new milestones. All this could be possible only on account of the dedication and untiring efforts of the teachers.

Education not only leads to greater intellectual understanding but also makes us appreciate and understand the spiritual values without which the universe would we worthless. It is the most powerful weapon which can change the world.
